CLIMATE CHANGE COMPOSITION FOR SONG

What Is Climate Change?

Climate change refers to long-term shifts in temperatures and weather patterns. These shifts may be natural, such as through variations in the solar cycle. But since the 1800s, human activities have been the main driver of climate change, primarily due to burning fossil fuels like coal, oil and gas.

Burning fossil fuels generates greenhouse gas emissions that act like a blanket wrapped around the Earth, trapping the sun’s heat and raising temperatures.

Examples of greenhouse gas emissions that are causing climate change include carbon dioxide and methane. These come from using gasoline for driving a car or coal for heating a building, for example. Clearing land and forests can also release carbon dioxide. Landfills for garbage are a major source of methane emissions. Energy, industry, transport, buildings, agriculture and land use are among the main emitters.

These climate changes,

Who judge and who kill

And devastate nature

causing greenhouse effect

melting the glaciers

killing our beauties

Agent has to educate

Teach to fix

What did they do wrong

Only with a lot of education

work and information

The people are prepared.

With faith in God I will be able,

hear someone say

That the whole world is happy.

If God wants I can

Hear the Africans say

How proud of our continent.

Its pretty,

everyone is committed

The schools educating

And the media reporting

The people are prepared.

*You Can Raise Awareness About Environmental Issues*

It's essential for people who care for the planet to raise awareness about climate change. If we want to protect the Earth, we need everyone's participation.

Your efforts can not only help inspire others to act but also change the future of our world and everyone in it.

How can technology improve sustainable production, consumption, and management of resources, reduce pollution creation, and protect biodiversity to create a greener future?

Building hybrid learning platforms (web-based app) and chatbots for out of school people, women, girls and children including disabled ones.

Designing healthy, including digital spaces that enable individuals and communities to thrive

Are there more Solutions?

Providing non-formal training in rural communities to advance climate justice through the SDGs.

Improve the ability to measure, analyze, or take decisive action on carbon emissions

- Reduce volume of and demand for materials that create the biggest waste footprint (plastics, electronics, food, textile), and encourage reuse/recycle opportunities

- Build effective and efficient ways to quantifiably promote, preserve, and protect biodiversity

- Reduce global food insecurity through, as examples, improvements to distribution or sustainable farming practices

- Build equitable access to sustainability solutions, education and job opportunities

How is climate change affecting Angola

Climate change is becoming a very serious matter for the whole world. Unfortunately, many people still don't know about this, they don't know what climate change is and what causes it. Worst of all, these people who lack this knowledge are the same people who cause environmental pollution and climate change, simply because they are unaware of the consequences of their actions. Then the problem becomes even more complicated.

How is climate change affecting Angola

Angola is currently facing the worst drought emergency in the last 38 years as a result of climate change. The effects of the drought include: shortages of food, lack of potable water, cattle dying from disease and malnourished children (among other things).

Southern and central Angola are facing one of the worst climate shocks in recent years, including alternating droughts and floods. Vulnerable populations use untreated wastewater for consumption, such as stagnant and unprotected pond water, where animals drink and defecate, and rural populations seek water that is dangerous to drink, cook and feed their animals.

Angola has also been struggling to manage municipal waste: the capital Luanda alone produces 6,000 tons of solid waste every day, which the city has struggled to manage.

We need to act, we need to reduce our environmental pollution. We need to change for the sake of the environment, we need to find solutions that would help us adapt to climate change.

We need to stop all our negative acts on the environment, because the damage is certain and real.

While other nations say that ordinarily, more rain is a blessing, the same cannot be said in Angola. Usually the rains in this country cause floods, misfortunes, fear, losses and deaths.
